This isn't because there aren't good players, but because the population density in Barcelona or Madrid is much higher, and quantity leads to quality—that's a fact. Football in Spain is organized by categories and meritocracy, in a pyramid structure: the better you are, the higher up the sporting pyramid you are, playing and training. Playing in the top categories in Barcelona or Madrid is very difficult, but if you manage it, you'll be closer to making your dream a reality.

WOSPAC Barcelona Tryouts

WOSPAC Barcelona is a high-performance international football academy established in 2010, offering elite development opportunities for young players aged 11 and up. Our tryout programs are designed to identify talent, assess player level, and provide a first-hand experience of professional football life in Barcelona.

The WOSPAC Tryout Program, lasting from 1 week to 3 months, focus on evaluating football players and providing them with a professional training environment. Participants train, receive technical feedback, and have the option to study languages and stay in the WOSPAC Residence. These programs are ideal for players considering joining WOSPAC’s season residency programs.

Football Training

The WOSPAC Tryout Program offers a professional football training experience led by UEFA-licensed coaches. Players train twice per day — morning and afternoon — with around 25 hours of football training per week on the field, in the gym, and in the swimming pool. 

The program divides training into morning and afternoon sessions. In the mornings, players train with academy players, and in the afternoons, they train with local Barcelona teams of different skill levels to determine their true level. These types of stays are very important for players who want to come to Barcelona to train during the season; it's a way for them to get to know us both on and off the field. A great experience is guaranteed!
